Si planeas un viaje a Montana, no te olvides de los lazos, ya que el Estado del Gran Cielo prohíbe estrictamente pescar con un enrollador de cuerdas . Según el Código Anotado de Montana, pescar con cualquier cosa que no sea caña, sedal y anzuelo es ilegal y te traerá muchos problemas. Si olvidas tus ambiciones de vaquero en la orilla, podrías salir del agua necesitando una red más grande y una cartera más grande para pagar una multa de entre $50 y $1,000.


Esta peculiar ley podría ser un guiño a la infame trucha marrón de gran tamaño que habita en los ríos del Estado del Tesoro, pero, más importante aún, forma parte de las extensas leyes estatales sobre pesca y vida silvestre. La industria pesquera de Montana genera más de 900 millones de dólares anuales, por lo que es importante regular a los turistas y visitantes que pescan río arriba.


Curiosamente, el estado de Tennessee tiene una ley similar. Pero lo que distingue a Montana es que también es ilegal regalarle cerveza a un pez. Sin cerveza, sin lazo, no hay diversión. ¡Vamos, Montana, vivamos un poco!
