Employer Matching Gifts
Did you know that you may be able to increase the impact of your gift to Ori with an employer match? As a fiscally sponsored project of Shunpike a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Ori is eligible for most Employer Matching Gift programs.
How can I find out if my employer matches gifts?
Contact your Human Resources department to learn if your employer can match contributions. Each company does matching a little differently and if your employer does match, they can share information about the policies and process specific to them.
My employer does match gifts! How can I enroll?
You can request an employer match for your charitable gift through 3 easy steps:
1) Contact your HR department to determine instructions for submitting a matching gift.
2) Determine the amount that you are eligible to have matched, which is the amount you have given year-to-date minus the fair market value of thank you gifts received this year (see table at the bottom of this page).
3) Designate your matched funds to Shunpike with a note designating funds for “Ori Arts Collective”. We are part of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and our non-profit’s registration number, or EIN, is: 91-2138554.
Your employer may also ask for additional information about Ori:
Fiscal Sponsor Name: Shunpike
Official Legal Name: Ori Arts Collective
Address: 472 1st Ave N, Seattle WA 98109
Tax ID number or EIN: 91-2138554
* Please note that employers can only match the amount you have given to-date, as opposed to the total amount you intend to donate over time.
- For members: You can submit for a match for the full amount every annual billing cycle.
- If you made a one-time gift: You can submit for a match for the full amount.
Please contact Ori Donor Services, hello@ori-mag.com, with any questions about matching gifts.
